Environmental Public Health Tracking

Environmental Public Health Tracking (EPHT) involves the ongoing collection, integration, and analysis of data about environmental hazards, exposure to environmental hazards, and health effects potentially related to exposure to those hazards. The goal of EPHT is to protect communities by providing federal, state, and local agencies with information they can use to plan, apply, and evaluate environmental public health actions.

The CT EPHT Network is part of a nation-wide network of integrated environmental monitoring and public health data systems developed as part of the National Environmental Public Health Tracking Network. The goal of the Network is to provide information that will allow stakeholders to take action to prevent and control environmentally related health effects.

The Connecticut Environmental Public Health Tracking Network integrates health, exposure and hazard information and data from a variety of sources.  On the CT EPHT Network, you can explore information and view tables and charts about health and the environment in the state of Connecticut.
